It’s always fun creating online stores for nice-looking products, like it was in case of Polanis, a Kyiv-based seller of floor covering including wood, vinyl, and laminate floors, carpeting, ceramic tiles and other products.
We worked on the design for this site with attention to every little detail, and as a result its background looks like tiled floor, its header is in harmony with wooden floor layout of the logo, and even the goods in the main catalog are tile-shaped. Such use of visual instruments helps users to immediately understand where they are and what the company sells. Combined with intuitive and easy to navigate catalog, it creates a positive experience and reinforces the company’s image.
All the frontend features were planned and implemented with end users in mind: flexible and convenient sorting and search, logical step-by-step ordering and purchase, were all aimed at making them happy returning customers.
